It drives me crazy every time a ref mentions it! It’s just nonsense to me

But I will reiterate, that there is “wind up” is such ridiculous criteria to even consider. Show me a legitimate NBA block that *doesn’t* have a wind up. Probably 90% of them do. So why is that important when considering a flagrant?

It definitely feels worse than this in the opposite direction because the Wolves (minus TSJ!) are shooting like garbage. It’s a lot easier to let the bad (non-)calls go when other things seem like they’re going right. But when they’re coming away from possessions empty, it’s harder to swallow

That being said, I also did point out that the Wolves shot 69% from the FT line tonight. Bump that up to 72% (one more make), and this is a W in the W-L column and a near miss instead of a total collapse. So maybe I’m just talking out of my ass

It’s not that the players are blameless. They’re certainly at fault too. But I don’t think you can say Finch is blameless either.
