Sometimes I wish Ant brought the ball up the court the way Jalen Green does. Weird comp, I know. But Green will just speed up the floor and assault the rim, even when there’s no clear advantage. Ant has all the same speed and athleticism. Sometimes he should be less of a tactician.

This is one of those plays where I feel for the fouler, because Rudy made a bball play. He went for the ball (& made contact with the ball!) and it just end up in a hard fall. That being said, part of why a flagrant is a flagrant is you need to disincentivize dangerous plays. And that was dangerous

Considering they’ve missed 8 FTs and are shooting 30% from the floor, being down 10 at half isn’t so bad. Obviously OKC’s D impacts your FG%, but there are plenty of makable, open shots MIN has missed. But they’ve gotta turn it on quick in the 2nd half or they’ll get run out of the gym.

This is the dumbest shit I’ve ever seen. So if it’s not a foul and there was no contact, the technical still stands just because Gobert did something silly with his arms? So if a player swats at a fly all alone, that’s also a technical because “oh no, what if someone was standing there!”?

I’m not calling for Finch’s job or anything - that would be absurd. But these collapses that the Wolves have are the one big black mark about his Wolves tenure. Idk that you can fault him for much else, but when they collapses start, for some reason he can’t/doesn’t do anything to stop them

It’s Devil in The Grove by Gilbert King by a mile. If you have any interest at all in the Jim Crow South, how it emboldened & embraced racism in law enforcement and the courts and how Thurgood Marshall and the NAACP strategized, it’s a must read. Even more so if you don’t know about the Groveland 4
Ok BlueSky: what are your favorite history books in terms of sheer page-turning, narrative propulsion? Thinking along the line of Killers of the Flower Moon, etc. Nonfiction chronicles that read like novels or movies.
