Our @rcls-nyu.bsky.social fellow and former WH Deputy National Cyber Director, @camillestewartgloster.com writes in @justsecurity.org about natsec challenges and opportunities of solar energy👇
Millions of insecure solar devices are leaving the U.S. vulnerable to cyberattacks.

But states and utility companies can act now to transform solar energy from a liability into a pillar of national power, write Michael Razeeq and Camille Stewart Gloster:

Read @rcls-nyu.bsky.social fellow & counter-extremism expert @tomjoscelyn.bsky.social on new terrorism designations of "Antifa Groups", in @justsecurity.org 👇
I did a deep dive on the State Dept’s designations of four “Antifa” groups.

State doesn’t even allege that they have targeted Americans or the U.S.

3 of them don’t appear to be Antifa.

The 1 that is Antifa was designated in part for fighting neo-Nazi groups, which haven’t been designated.
The State Dept's designations of Antifa undermine claims that the mvmnt poses a significant terrorist threat to Americans, counterextremism expert @tomjoscelyn.bsky.social writes

The 4 designated groups haven’t targeted Americans. 3 don’t appear to be Antifa.
