I’m a practical, positive, optimistic Australian who believes in kindness, compassion & social justice. I won’t respond to DMs unless I know you IRL.
An excellent summation of the Pauline phenomenon.

Yes of course it is and very worrying. Venezuela might just be practice for Trump and his lackeys.

The USA about to behave just like Russia - invade a neighbour because you want their resources. Unbelievable!

These outdated policy directions show that the LNP has no new ideas & that for them it is still John Howard's Australia.

Politicians have scapegoated immigration for decades. It’s time to flip the script
Anti-immigration rallies across Australia are the culmination of years of political scaremongering. But better immigration messaging could change the trajectory.

The LNP setting the agenda is a laughable notion. The fact is they are arguing amongst themselves about how to keep enriching their coal & gas mates while pretending we can't get to net zero & also trying to tap into the racist tendencies of some voters by creating fake a immigration crisis.

Perhaps they could also remind him that their employer isn't relevant unless his aim is press intimidation and then they need to press him to answer to their question.
November 23, 2025 at 11:37 AM
Perhaps you're right but I was trying to be measured. It's very difficult to be rational when evaluating the extremists in Trump's cast of enablers.

Which tiny bottle did you drink?

Lumpini Park is quite the experience. Once visited, never forgotten.

Every Trump regime response to Ukraine is a 💯 indication that Putin has significant kompromat on Trump. It's the only explanation as to why a POTUS would withdraw support from a democracy under threat & risk the European & UK alliances. The only question is, what the hell could it be?

Perhaps if he hadn't encouraged his supporters to cancel & threaten that VP's daughter, he might have been welcome.

How long before Trump starts blaming Miller & Noem for the unpopularity of ICE operations? Any moment now?
November 22, 2025 at 6:25 AM
Noem follows the classic Nazi playbook - ignore the law, terrorise, demonise, marginalise, torture, blame. She's a truly terrible person.

The problem for Gina is she only listens to her puppets & sycophants. The rest of us can see they are just a bunch of pathetic losers with no vision for Australia's future.
November 22, 2025 at 2:57 AM
This is why the LNP are increasingly unable to win Sydney metro seats. Their sexist, reactionary bullshit is not the way back to government.
November 22, 2025 at 2:52 AM
My guess is Republicans want to create a big enough house and Senate majority to allow Trump to run again in 2028 if he's still alive of course. He's such a malignant narcissist, he probably thinks he will live forever.
November 22, 2025 at 2:44 AM
That's a war crime right there - wounding of a civilian & denial of medical help so they can watch that child die. Will anyone ever hold them accountable? I can't get my head around what sort of psychological programming produces soldiers who behave in this manner. It's sickening.
November 22, 2025 at 2:41 AM
What the anti-vax crew routinely fail to mention is that not having vaccines carries a high risk of severe illness, disability & death especially in children, while their claims of vaccine harm are unproven.
November 22, 2025 at 2:14 AM
Exactly. Now Israel has the hostages back they are ramping up their genocide on Gaza & the rest of the world is simply looking away. It is unforgivable.
November 22, 2025 at 1:57 AM
Very true. Every day she is standing there trying to justify his over reach & excesses. It's pathetic.
November 21, 2025 at 8:15 PM
Agreed. I don't think she's bright enough to have a sense of humour.
November 21, 2025 at 8:09 PM
Oh, so she's a diplomat in charge of international relations now? Leavitt needs to stick to her real job because her performance there leaves much room for improvement.
November 21, 2025 at 7:54 PM
Totally correct. In Australia we don't have a president but I can 💯 guarantee that any political leader who did what Trump did on Jan 6th would have zero chance of ever leading a political party again & would end up in prison. The fact that he's back in power is mind-blowing.
