They are truly the bullies of the bird world. I've seen them chase off every other type of bird if there is any seed on offer. Three or four of them working together, chase off birds twice their size. If they're stealing your food, it's because they think they are in charge.

The jacarandas here in Wollongong have been spectacular this year. They started in mid October, a little earlier than usual & they are still going. Often they are planted alongside an Illawarra Flame. When their flowering happens to coincide, the red & purple looks incredible.

For a minute there I thought he was retiring from politics but my joy was cut short by the suggestion that Barnaby was instead defecting to the RW cringe where he will be free to display his worst qualities without impunity. Uggh!

Just a fact check, I think the Arab leader in the meme may Mohammed bin Salman from Saudi Arabia. He's also given Trump & Kushner billions but he's not Qatari. This is Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani Emir of Qatar.

Most likely the snub, if it's really that, is payback for in joining 155 other countries in recognising a Palestinian state at the UN but perhaps it's just another example of Trump's short attention span. We're not wrong to keep remembering, Israel has progressively stolen the Palestinian homeland.

Tom Hollander is an excellent British character actor who has appeared in numerous excellent movies & TV series. His performance as Mr Collins in the 2005 version of Pride & Prejudice directed by Joe Wright is a favourite of mine.

Can we just remind the old fossil that Palestine did exist in 1948 before the systematic Israeli occupation & land grab of the last 70 years? The Palestinian people still exist even though if their land has been progressively stolen. Recognising the right of any people to exist is never wrong.
