I learned to drive on a '66 Ford F150 w/ "3-on-the-tree". If you didn't shift exactly right from 1st to 2nd, the transaxle would lock & the truck would come to a screeching halt! (Never did for me... my Dad warned me about it!) Can you say "double-clutch"!

It would be a lot more efficient without the inherent intrasigence of those enamoured with the status quo. Quality evidence is much easier to generate than the acceptance thereof.

The early 60's models were variations of this design. I liked the '60-'61. They had cool "eyebrows" over the headlights.

My mother could make a fortune as a mold detector. If it's there, she'll react to it, even in the smallest amount. Of course the "job" would literally kill her!
