The 6th World Christianity Conference is in the books! Such a delight to work with my colleagues Soojin Chung, Afe Adogame, Caitlin Barton and others in the making of this conference. The next one will happen on March 9 - 13, 2026 in Recife, Brazil. Gratitude to all participants.

All of us who in one way or another were touched and inspired by the teachings of Father Gustavo Gutierrez feel a bit orphaned today. That does not take away our responsibility to continue the conversation that he and other pioneers began several decades ago. May he rest in peace.

Grateful for this meaningful day in Toronto, Canada, attending the North American Academy of Ecumenists’ 2024 Annual Conference on the theme “Memory, Truth, and Reconciliation.” It was privilege to be on a panel with the Rev. Dr. Angelique Walker-Smith and to spend time with Bishop Riscylla Shaw.

What a delight to welcome Dr. Shalon Park as a colleague in the the Department of History and Ecumenics at Princeton Theological Seminary! She comes to fill an important gap in the World Christianity and History of Religions program since last year. Looking forward to working with her.
