Birding, music, Walsall FC.
Birding since 2014. Ultra-local Midlands twitching only, usually to see birds found by Stuart Hares. UK 'life' list 245.

Would love to, but Bishops Castle on a Thursday is probably a bit ambitious.

Point 2 - you've got the job.

Yes, that was me. Good to finally put a face to the name.

I think we met briefly this morning Steve - walking across the causeway - you told me about the Goldeneye.
I had a Bittern fly across to Dosthill just as I got to the river bridge.
Nothing out of the ordinary but still managed 66 species this morning.

There's a version of Newcastle on the most recent Shovel Dance Collective album. I've seen them play this live a couple of times and it was lovely, but for some reason the album version has the word Newcastle pronounced as only a really posh, really southern person would consider doing. Off-putting.

The OSTs are more consistent than the albums IMO.

Decent track, that.

Have you heard the Pan Am OST they released earlier this year? Best thing they've done in a while.

As any respectable flagger will tell you, that ship sailed to Stirchley some time ago.

Job done. Now we need some league results.

Far calmer since half time, thankfully.

And what an event it's been so far.

Got the ironing done though.

Likely so. If only I'd known.

Never saw them either.

Daisy Chainsaw seems an odd pairing. Can't imagine their audience was overly sympathetic.

The ability to create chaos.
Did you ever see them live?

Was doing most of my record shopping in Leeds around that time and remember there being staff in a couple of the shops who were very pro-DI.

Don't really get the Smog hype but that record is genius.

Call it a 20-year plan, then you've got a couple of years to sort the last two?
