There are a few probable ways I could die before reaching old age, but by far the most humiliating/degrading/embarrassing of them is the very scary chance a combined IBS+POTS flareup has disastrous results while I’m in the bathroom.
It might seem ridiculous, but the risk is real, I shit you not.

Today, November 15th, 2025, marks one year legally married to my wife, @kelseymarie2014.bsky.social. While we effectively eloped, leaving for a vacation a week after tying the knot, it still marked what has been a defining part of our journey through life together.

Using up the last of the food bank food today.
I don’t know how I’m going to survive next week.
I’m already not eating as much as I ought to be, and it’s...only going to get worse from here.
The only way I’ve been functioning is by not thinking of the future, because I am running out of futures.

I had been wanting to officially set the years for events in my story's sequel. Now, I have every important event locked down with the rest easy to extrapolate. And it all works!

When it rains, it pours.
I’ve gotten the events of nearly everything lined up now. In less than 48 hours, I’ve gone from vague ideas of chronology to nearly the entire series having hard locked times n dates and orders.

If UBI were a thing, I wouldn't have to be in full panic mode while out of work.
