Humanity might possibly have been a good idea had we not been cursed with speech and thought to take our noble qualities and turns them into lies. If only we could do what we do without reason or explanation, but just as purpose in itself. If only the sounds from our mouths were song with no memory.

So entertaining. You can spend hours enjoying the sight of impossibly beautiful people wearing stylish clothing in exotic locations. They will dance and fight and kiss and shoot each other and drive very fast cars, and you will never be troubled by comprehending their stupid explanations for why!

But, do not just watch just any movie trailer. Choose trailers of movies whose IMDb ratings are from 4.0 and 5.5. Those are the ones just good enough to two good scenes. When you write the rest of the movie in your brain, it will be an excellent movie.

For free! And in two minutes!

Yeah, and these trailers are free. They might charge you for the painful experience of watching the whole stupid on average 141 minutes of garbage, but the one or two minute trailer costs nothing.

And those are the best one or two minutes of the whole thing.

Yeah, I know. Walking distance is what keeps that fantasy from becoming a reality for me as well. Either I need to find an apartment near a warehouse district, or will need to convince my family to move into the warehouse with me. Neither conversation has gotten very far for me yet.

That being said... I still have this constant fantasy of renting out a warehouse just so that I can set up a massive personal shop.

Totally get that. Have been working in a corner of my apartment near the kitchen for more than a decade now. My total space is probably 2x3m.

And, yeah, the reason I accept this is probably the same for us both. I would rather make room for the people I live with than the things I work with.
