But after 4 to 5 days I am back home with my partner and best friend to help me recover who I am forever grateful for. I am off of work for some time to recover albeit I'm not being paid for it. And I'm hoping my insurance cover for this unforeseen mishap.

I had a drain hanging out of my stomach for days for the abscess and couldn't eat solid foods or full liquids for days which was fine because since the surgery I lost my appetite, something I'm still trying to find to this day.

That Friday I had my very first surgery which went very smooth all things considered but I was scared of a lot of things. The hospital, the financial repercussions, the vulnerability, the possibility that I will never be the same - for the worst mind you!

Nearly a week ago I went to the ER thanks to the persuasion of my partner Cory when the pain became so much that I was crying and out of breath. Turns out - YES - I have appendicitis not only that but a infection and abnormally large abscess.
