For Wall-E, Thomas Newman returned, and I admit I need to listen to these tracks on their own more to fully say anything, but I don't think it's as strong as Nemo's music, that said, some of the themes especially in the first half are very memorable, and Down to Earth is a great Peter Gabriel song!

For Ratatouille, Michael Giacchino returned, and with another fantastic score, and this might be my favorite score of his for a Pixar movie actually. it's so fittingly French combined with memorable cues throughout!

For cars, Randy Newman returned but only for the score, which I think is good but not as memorable as his other works for Pixar, that said, the highlight is the music from various artists, such as my favorite of the bunch, Real Gone by Sheryl Crow

For those unaware, John Barry was the composer for most of the Bond films in the 60s, which needs no introduction music wise. This however was the problem, Barry didn't want to just rescore or repeat elements from Bond. While it would've fit Incredibles, I do understand the choice.

The Incredibles has a fantastic soundtrack, it's even become a meme for multiple songs due to how iconic it is, so what can I add that's new? Well, a production history! You see, Incredibles was originally not scored by Michael Giacchino, but instead Brad Bird hoped for John Barry.

I just reviewed Nemo's soundtrack on my own time, but this one was provided by Thomas Newman instead, i feel this was good as not only did his music for the film work, but I honestly think Pixar did over-rely on Randy Newman early on. Thankfully this score is amazing.

For Monsters, Inc, Randy returned yet again, which I feel yet again he provides an amazing score, probably my favorite one of the bunch so far, but yet again I find his end credits song to be lame, even if he's thankfully not the one singing it!

Randy Newman of course returned for Toy Story 2, but unlike the first film he doesn't sing anything, thank god!
Jokes about Randy aside, the score is also iconic, the music when Woody is cleaned is a damn warworm. and yes, the When She loved me song is powerful.

Next we have, another Randy Newman soundtrack, for A Bug's Life this time. This film is one I stand by being pretty just ok for Pixar, but I also firmly believe Randy Newman's score does make the film more memorable, and really enhances the finale.
One problem: The end credits song is crap!

I feel are just plain Randy Newman nonsense on their own, which I'm being honest, I've never exactly been a fan, I find his voice more funny to imitate than good at singing, and I find the lyrics to be corny & obvious a lot of the time. But even I have to admit Randy did alright on this.

Starting with none other than Toy Story, this soundtrack by Randy Newman is really good.......until Randy sings. Now in FAIRNESS I think Strange Things is actually a track I like a lot, and consider it the highlight musically. But the other tracks while fitting in context of the film....

Gonna use this moment to talk about the music of Pixar films, because I have been hyperfixated on their movies lately, and I think out of all things about them, Music is neglected from them a lot outside of some exceptions I'll get to. Let's begin!

Finding Nemo (Soundtrack): Of all things about Pixar movies, music is often forgotten to be talked about, but for Nemo I'd say it's super important to the film, and even on it's own creates a great atmosphere for the ocean, with emotional themes.

5: Raychel Wakemen (Lucy White as well): Song is from a movie that greatly inspired this story, but I think it thematically fits for a werewolf without being lyrically about a "monster" or "wolf" of any kind www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Ldp...

2: Clockwork: Eminence Front by The Who I feel best describes the themes of Clockwork as a story, at least when we get up to the 3rd & 4th generation of the family. big business & big bucks to hide hollow people.

Hazbin Hotel Season 2: I thought this was a much better season, I did feel episode 3 was the weakest here but I found the story expanded well & I am beyond curious what's next.
