Hi Zandra - hope you are well. I'm fine, hip problem has settled down, I found a good physio to do some treatment and to show me extra exercises to help my hips.
My son (Nigel) is working at Balter brewery in Currumbin but he still lives in Murbah. He's says it's hard to find anything on Goldie.

We have to replace the tiled roof on our house and we want to get it done before end of November. We will be down in first half of 2026

Spot on by Briggs. The AUKUS submarine project has flaws for Day 1. Firstly, it was approved by Morrison, then Albanese govts in breach of Defence Procurement regulations as well as in breach of Treasury regulations. We can only hope that AU gets a minority govt after May 3, to scrap AUKUS subs.

Musk is finished. He's scared of being killed by assassin, he now wears a military style Kevlar bullet proof vest that can stop military rifle bullets. I don't think we'll see/hear much of him now.

I'm not a fan of prescription medication. I only take Irbesartan for CHF and Nexium for bile reflux (caused by gall bladder removal 15 yrs ago).

Sorry to hear about Hashimoto's. Are you receiving treatment? I have CHF, congestive heart failure but it's very early stage. My recent tests in early January showed no changes in past year. It takes years to finish you off!

You are. I'm going OK, my GP told me recently that I was disgustingly healthy for my age. I think I'm a 30 yr old in an 80 yr old body! But everything still works!

It did. He's away from actual beer production at Balter, he's their delivery driver covering the GC.

We were making a trip to see our son, at Murbah, some friends we haven't seen for 4 years at Bruns, and our grand-daughter and great grandson who live on Gold Coast. We also wanted to pop in to see a friend who is in an aged care facility at Ashmore on the way home. We only had 5 days for all that.

Sorry We didn't catch up. I only had 2 days and my son had arranged some activities. We'll be heading down that way again soon prob in June.

My son was planning to move anyway, it was jump first or get the boot. company was forced to pat staff for allowances not paid going back 3 years. He nearly $8000. He approached 'Balter' beer at Currumbin before he was about to leave Stone & Wood. Got a job. He likes working now for Balter.

Hi - The new owners (Lion Beverages) kept some incompetent managers in place when it bought the business. Staff were being ripped off by company in relation to payments. Half the staff wanted to unionise the place, half didn't. My son was pushing for union, it became union, management sacked him.
