Release of 2004 cabinet papers reveals that States approached Howard govt to work together to develop policies to provide more housing. Howard played politics and refused to co-operate. So Libs and Howard deserve blame for much of the current housing shortage.

More rain coming today and later in week for Sunny Coast. 🤬I know it's summer in Qld, but we were hoping for a few dry days to get some serious gardening & landscaping done. We have to cover a 100 sq metre area with mulch, among other jobs. Oh well, at least we're going to a Christmas party tonite.

Went to Toowoomba on Monday for 2 days, stayed at friends B&B at Nobby 40 kms south of Toomba (Nobby is famous for 2 reasons, any guesses?) 40 mils of rain over the 2 days. Toomba region is beautiful now, so green. Drove back Wednesday via Esk, 3 hr run, lots of fog on the ranges.
