To understand why I consider this to be one of my most epic pictures, you have to know that “Swan”, on the left, was a wonderful photographer, a fellow sailor, and a wonderful friend of mine. He passed away not long after this photo was taken. So did this car. Poignant memories are evoked.

It’s been pouring in Vava’U today. All night, too, as a matter of fact. Depressing? Maybe, but there IS beauty in it.
