Is this because publishing companies force this, libraries don't have the budget for more ebooks, or we can't imagine new ways to do an old thing like early cars looked like horse carriages. 2/2

They also got off the ground by knocking on apartment doors, taking pictures and posting listings themselves to get their first customers.

Luck is necessary but not sufficient for massive success. 2/2

In my case -

1. Orlando Magic are my local team. I have YouTube TV and NBA League Pass, can't watch any of their games unless they are on national tv which is never.

2. Currently: CLE, BOS, NYK, ORL, MIL / OKC, HOU, MEM, DAL, DEN

3. LAL, BOS, NYK, GSW - huge markets.

4. HOU and ORL this season

Even if you tried to only maximize shareholder value, you couldn’t. Maximizing now often minimizes later - see Intel, Boeing.

In the real world, companies have to balance all stakeholders - employees, customers, suppliers, partners, regulators, and yes shareholders too. 2/2

What I do -

* Try to write readable code
* Comment and document anyway
* Happily explain it because English is a great way to communicate and I not only want my code to be easy to work with, I want to be easy to work with too.

Program long enough and you realize today's perfect code is tomorrow's "what the fuck was I thinking" code.

3. Code that every dev at every level understands is like a joke everyone understands: knock knock, who's there? Not very funny 2/2

I had absolutely no passion for software development, still don’t. Best decision of my life to do it anyway.
