A while back, a text to my daughter telling her "I love you" somehow autocorrected to "I love Yog-Sothoth." Now we just sometimes text "Yog-Sothoth!" to each other. It's much better than a heart emoji.

Pierre Christin has passed, the writer of so many great BD over the decades. I especially love his collaborations with Enki Bilal, and The Hunting Party is one of my all-time favorite comics.

I just finished my third reading of Finnegans Wake and I’ve also been diving into Philip K Dick’s VALIS trilogy (about to start The Transmigration Of Timothy Archer). The Wake has now become my comfort lit, while PKD is pleasantly hurting my brain (and soul).

I just started reading Philip K Dick’s The Divine Invasion when I ran into a passage from Finnegans Wake. Not at all expected, though the more I think about it the more I can see PKD as a huge fan of FW.

So a very long paragraph begins with a reference to “Sin Showpanza” and a couple hundred words later in the same paragraph I run into “dulsy nayer” and all I can do is throw my hands up and admire another setup well played. This is why I read the Wake over and over.
