My greatest fear is that Democratic leadership doesn't see what's happening as the greatest threat to democracy that this nation has ever faced and demands dynamic and forceful leadership to lead the nation from the abyss and we'll get more of the same stuff that let it all happen in the first place

Funny how these fraud allegations in MN appear just after Walz torched Trump and just as Trump's buddy announced his bid for governor. I'm sure it's just a coincidence and in no way represents an attempt at payback against Walz by a petty vindictive man and his sycophantic enablers.

It would be cynical of me to think that someone planted stories in the Epstein Files that have just enough truth in them to be plausible, but added things that can be easily denied and thereby throwing the veracity of the entire document into question.

Cynicism or knowing how far people will go

There's a word when a supposedly free and independent media decides to kill reporting that might be embarrassing to the administration .... and journalism is NOT the word.

When you start losing elections you can do one of three things:
Change your platform to reflect a changing population.

Continue to do the same thing and hope voter inertia gives you enough votes to remain (in your mind) relevant.

There's so much black in the released Epstein Files from redactions that Trump denied housing to them....

It's sadly ironic how many people don't realize that although they think they're not on the list of people who will be removed from society, they're actually farther down the list and those in charge just haven't got down to them yet.

If the fact checking response is longer than the actual speech or whatever that was, you know this was peak Trump.

It can't be overstated just how stupid the present administration thinks the average person is.

Remember that saying 'those who don't remember the past are doomed to repeat it'?

We're proving that saying in real time.

If literally quoting the Bible is too 'woke' for you, maybe you got this whole religion thing wrong.

I swore an oath to the Constitution in 1986. I've upheld it through 25 years of service and every day since I retired.

If Trump's trying to intimidate me, it won’t work. I’ve given too much to our country to be silenced by bullies who care more about power than the Constitution.

When a toddler gravitates toward a strong adult figure in the room and seemingly instantly falls in love with them, it's cute.

When a 79 year old man who happens to be President does the same, it's kind of creepy... and explains a lot.

One wonders, and it's total speculation of course, if the sudden capitulation on the Epstein Files means that the gnomes who labor in the dark have had enough time to alter and redact the Files to totally remove and/or replace certain names,

We will never see the original Epstein Files.

You would think that mainstream media would be outraged at the deference that Trump is showing to the man who ordered the murder of Khashoggi, a fellow journalist... but aside from a few notable exceptions, it's another case of 'thank you, sir, may I have another' for our mainstream media

Defending a pedophile by saying she was 15 not 5 when she was assaulted so it's not as bad is not the winning argument you think it is...

Funny how almost immediately after the disastrous capitulation of the Democrats in exchange for nothing to end the shutdown, these Epstein emails suddenly get released. It's almost as if Democratic leadership knew how craven they were going to look so had a shiny new thing to deflect attention.

If Chuck Schumer is the 'head' of Senate Democrats by the end of this week, it's time to primary every single Democratic Senator who won't vote for such a measure.

It's so unlike the Democratic Party to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory... except for every other time that they did it.
November 10, 2025 at 2:26 AM
I see what happened yesterday as more a victory for America rather than a victory for Democrats.

This was accomplished largely without an increasingly ineffectual (and inconsequential) party leadership and that scares the hell out of the party elite.
