I DID finish marking all my Level 2 mocks at school yesterday. And yes, I didn’t leave until 7:45pm because of that. But still.

Now L2 portfolios, year 11 practice essays, year 11 practice UFT, IB practice essays, eventually year 11 portfolios.

The hair I just shed is reflective of This Year.

Dunedin, by the by, has been warmer than expected and full of closed store fronts. Admittedly I’ve largely only experienced the stretch of Princes St from our hotel to the Octagon, but still.

Decided it was worth getting a full pho ga bowl, and let’s be honest, while this stuff from a bougie food court is really good, it’s not the same wild volume of serving of non-Newmarket iterations.

Fire at the bottom of Te Kōpuke/Mount St John - seems to a house or yard on Ranfurly Road. Very black smoke at points after some bangs, then back to white/grey after a bit. Seems to be under control for now.
