I wish I could get out of this funk with writing bc I can complain all day but I need to put my money where my mouth is since I can't expect the other 99% of the fandom to not flood tags with nothing related to what they tag on that site.

And I haven't thought about them as frequently as much as they have me. I don't want to say names tbh but they were creepy with how fixated they were in hoping me and said best friend of mine would lose the good rep we have in the fandom over one (non-friend btw) person being upset.

So thank fuck.

I'm (and my closest friend too) not the first person they wouldn't stop being obsessive over either, I learned from another that it's their thing. They refuse to move on from people who "slight" them and try to villainize them whenever possible.

Like it works when it works, but this fandom (and fandom as a whole now in general now that I think about it) for the most part's problem is it doesn't know how to Not Tag shit when it doesn't need to, so it clogs the tags up and actually hurts the use of the otp:true filter with it.

And to be specific they need to be the only ship tagged in the Relationship tag section. If you add minor ships to that section, and use the OTP:true filter, you're screwed out of seeing that fic there.

It's the "One OTP only ship tag" which is why its so detrimental here specifically infact. ;;.;;

It works terribly bc there are some few M&M-centric fics (my friend Shades' megafic of them specifically) that get cut out of the tag with this filter bc she has a bunch of other ships tagged alongside M&M so it gets nuked out the search. ;.;

M&M needs to be the ONLY ship tagged for that filter.
