Legality is not the same thing as morality. Just because something is legal, doesn't mean it's moral. Just because something is illegal, doesn't mean it's immoral. It's insane how many people need to hear this.

There is a huge difference between intrinsic inequality and imposed #inequality. #Leftists fight against the latter. #Rightists fallaciously equate the two in order to conceal the latter. We humans are beset with limitations, but that's not a moral failing and we shouldn't be punished for it.

Pro-capitalists love to preach extreme, individual responsibility to the poor, but for the billionaires that have all the power and money in the world, they offer nothing but their pathetic sychophancy. Responsibility to those with no power, excuses for those with all the power. Madness.

#Conservatives don't seem to understand the difference between #freedom and #privilege. When they say, "I love my freedom!" what they're actually saying is, "I love my privilege!" If they really cared about freedom, they would care about it for everyone, not just themselves.

Remember, "We simply can't afford #universalhealthcare!" is coming from the same people who support the #US' trillion dollar #war machine. They have plenty money for death and destruction but God forbid we actually help people in this damned country.

It took seeing adult bullies to understand that my childhood bullies didn’t even really want to hurt me, they just wanted to feel powerful and how I felt about it wasn’t even in the equation.
I can’t imagine someone not outgrowing that, but apparently it happens quite a lot!

I stopped supporting #capitalism once I realized it only cares about #money. Human well-being and environmental sustainability are merely incidental, and if they must be cut to increase the bottom line, they will be 99% of the time.
