总之我感觉国内虽然一直都比较威权但是威权左和威权右的原理是不一样的而现在国内是威权右。很多人喜欢天堂其实只是单纯慕强aka内化阶级思想,老反革命了hhh

I’d consider it less of a result of red terror but more of modern classism. Red terror at least has a root in left wing ideology and was an attempt to eliminate social classes. But the ideology behind eliminating sinners is very much classism and a desire for stability.

I think most US fans probably view it as a terribly failed attempt to talk about sex work, drugs, crimes etc while CN fans are like “we need to talk about those? cant we just kill everybody involved with those crimes?”

感觉有的大陆人就,嘴上说着反对台独实际上比谁都把台湾人当外人,到底是谁支持分裂

merely because they are Taiwanese :(
Like people usually do have basic common sense and empathy and understand that the female boxer cant possibly be amab and that it’s extremely unprofessional for the airport to ask a paralyzed 64 year old man to stand up and walk into the plane himself.

There's sometimes a symbolic "bride fetching" ceremony in the morning, when the groom would arrive at the bride's house with a fancy decorated car and the bride's family and friends would hide the bride and prank the groom until he finds her.

If I'm ever having a wedding I'm definitely not having it in China unless I really want to piss off all my relatives by raising queer awareness.

I am the first child in my generation of my extended family so I get to be the flowergirl at a lot of weddings and was very Peridot about it, so I used to love weddings. But as I grew up I gained empathy and started to feel bad for the newly married couples because they always look so miserable.
