That changed with Buffer Community. Now I dedicate focused time to replying across all platforms from one calm space. No algorithm distractions - just conversations. For creators juggling platforms, this removes friction from the most human part of social media.

A Focused Space to Reply to Every Comment | Buffer Community
Buffer Community allows you to filter, sort, and reply to comments across multiple social media accounts to increase engagement and grow your audience.

If you are active on many different channels, jumping between platforms, sifting through notifications, trying to find the right conversations - it is tedious. I have notifications off to stay focused, but that means I have to manually checking each platform.

Managing all the comments and interactions became overwhelming. I wasn't just replying to the odd comment anymore. One LinkedIn post for example got 30 comments and 200+ reactions. Never happened to me before 🙈

Congrats 🙌🏾

Yeah, that's what I meant with educate really, not like teaching 😅

It's important that kids grow up having the space and opportunity to have social interactions that they enjoy, peers that they bond with so that they cherish these moments more than anything that a device or AI can ever offer

Congrats and all the best to you all 😍

Good shout, I have not implemented an RSS feed yet but I can look into it! Thanks for the suggestion!

As much as AI is going to be important in the future, it’s also going to be important to educate kids on how to safely use it.

AI will and never can replace human interactions.

Sometimes you don't realize what you needed until you find it. Buffer isn't just where my skills fit - it's where I fit as a person. A feeling I haven't had in a while when it comes to my job.

My key takeaway for anyone looking for the next opportunity: The right culture match is worth the wait. 🧡

Working async anywhere from Australia to the US actually works. Comparing that to past experiences where I often felt like I was coding in a silo even though my team was in a single timezone, and the difference is night and day. True collaboration across timezones is possible, if everyone wants to!

What really struck me was seeing Buffer values in action. "Showing gratitude" is not just a poster on a wall. No, everyone here actively gives "tacos" 🌮 (our gratitude system) every single day. No prompts needed. We just live it. People here genuinely embody what they believe in.

In a world obsessed with AI automation and efficiency metrics, Buffer hasn't forgotten the most important element: humans. My onboarding was thoughtfully crafted by both my team and the people team, fully tailored to me as a person and my new role within the team and wider company

@akenroberts.com Thank you that was super helpful!

@akenroberts.com ah yes, that’s that's what I was looking for! Thank you

I solved it this way: bsky.app/profile/rath... but I think I’ll update to this cleaner way

But that feels a bit weird as I would expect to make this change somewhere with Fortify?
November 4, 2025 at 10:41 PM
That doesn't work for me as users should still be able to visit "/" while logged in.

So what I am doing at the moment is calling
\Illuminate\Auth\Middleware\RedirectIfAuthenticated::redirectUsing(fn () => '/w');

in my AppServiceProvider overwriting some logic in that middleware
November 4, 2025 at 10:41 PM
Cleared configs and stuff but with no effect
November 4, 2025 at 9:02 PM
But when I visit /login with an active session, it redirects me to / instead of the new route.

Why is this happening? Can't really find it out 😅

Watching this while enjoying my dark roast coffee made in an old mokapot 😅

Oh that makes absolutely sense! Didn’t think about that!
