Hi Paul, welcome to BlueSky.

Wow, sounds promising! Is there an original link? Thanks.
This is HUGE news! In a first-ever human clinical trial of four adult patients, an mRNA cancer vaccine developed at the University of Florida quickly reprogrammed the immune system to attack glioblastoma, the most aggressive and lethal brain tumor.

Let’s talk about that! 🧪🧵⬇️

Two parts of my life have intersected in an odd and unusual way. In a previous post, I described the invasive yellow star thistle which has invaded our ranch. When I decided to attack it, I had become a "Thistle-Chaser", embodying her childhood war with the stinging plants. Strange co-incidence.

@gimbalhat.bsky.social Hi Gimbalhat, glad to see you here!

The ALT text has a mistake. Ratha's Challenge is #4, not #3.
Getting pooped. I even tried to fix it by going into the HTML, but couldn't find my text string. Not going to do it over.

Here's a cover image from one of my books. This is the Imaginator Press (Sheila Ruth) trade paperback edition of Ratha's Challenge, #4 of the series. Feedback please?

These plants are really nasty. They contain a chemical that can cause brain damage in horses, leading to death. They are also the top invasive non-natives in California, choking out natives such as wild California poppies. They can sting you right through gloves. Originally from Spain.

OK, I have turned on the ALT reminder and will re-post the yellow star thistle post with the ALT.

Whoo boy, I made some real goofs on the last posts, but am too tired to re-do them. Hubby kept me up until 5 in the morning. He had a bellyache from over-eating. I didn't wake up until 1 PM today. #Marriage

still available as e-books (downloadable text files) and I promote them and interact with readers via social media, such as TwitterX, Facebook, etc. and hope to be able to continue that here. 2/2

Hi, BookSky. I'm Clare L. Bell, also known as Rathacat and a published writer since 1983. I began as a Star Trek fan writer in the 1970's, and went professional with Ratha's

and brush around our home. Luckily that is winding down because fire season is ending soon. Another duty I have assumed is getting rid of #starthistles, which have invaded our property and can literally take over if not removed. These are the most non-native invasive plants here in California. 2/2

Hi BlueSky friends. I haven't been online much, due to several ongoing essential projects. One is sealing the roof of our home before the rains start, so that the kitchen doesn't become a swimming pool, as it did last year. Another is preparing for fire season by clearing dry grass and 1/2

Some of the F1 generation Bengals (asian leopard cat cross with domestic) chewed their owner's shoes. Hopefully he doesn't do that!
He is! He’s back to his normal self now and if you know bengals you know what that means! Haha

I'm glad puss is feeling better. Is he a Bengal?
puss was feeling a bit poorly this week, seems to be almost back to his old self now thankfully:)

@tetzoo.bsky.social This single fossil preserves only the head and neck. The restoration of D. crassus as a cheetah-like pursuit predator is based only on skull features, i.e broad skull, enlarged nasal area. Do you know of any other D. crassus fossils? Do you think it was cheetah-like? 2/2

@tetzoo.bsky.social Hi Darren. Got a question for you. I write a fiction series about intelligent prehistoric big cats (The Named or Ratha series). They are based on Dinaelurus crassus, the supposedly cheetah-like nimravid. Only one fossil has been found in the John Day Formation. 1/2

Oh hi Cat! 🧪 Gearing up for this year's Snapshot USA where I add Yosemite to the list of sites I am going to deploy camera traps in. Really really excited about that! The overall sites are Yosemite, Carrizo Plains and Sierra Foothills. It's gonna be fun!

#RathaResearch. Since Ratha is based on Dinaelurus crassus (Dinaelurini), here's a recent diagram of the Nimravid groups. Barrett PZ. 2016 Taxonomic and systematic

I would like to get some BlueSky invites for my friends on the Xed bluebird. How do I do this?

If you think that you've been on the Internet fora really long time, here's a question. Do you remember the all-text site Delphi?

Here's the Imaginator Press cover (by the immensely talented @EvilViergacht ) for Ratha's Creature. This is my second favorite cover for this book,, the first being the Atheneum-Argo Margaret K. McElderry hardcover
