Ooh, I always get choked up at the home movies finale. That sad little “oh” Brendon makes when he drops his camera, then just looking at his dysfunctional but well meaning found family, seeing his camera slowly die out, all capped off with Brendon Small’s calming bittersweet music. 10/10 finale

Ooh! I’ll def have to check that out. Andy is an insanely talented programmer and I’m just completely fascinated by the GOOL and GOAL programming languages he made for those early naughty dog games.

The creeping realization of what was happening on the second play through was so cool! Almost finished it without crying but then that final play through for the good ending just absolutely wrecked me.

Used to make my fav games but kinda just been diminishing returns since Jason Rubin and Andy Gavin left imo. Uncharted and Last of Us aren’t bad games but they’re not exactly what I would consider to be fun but that’s kinda my own bias

Literally just finished watching it and that Louise scene was honestly beautiful. The frantic pacing of everything before it, Jud glancing at the smashed Jesus figure, realizing he was losing himself. I have my qualms with religion but it was a nice reminder that there are people out there like Jud.

Ooh penny has found the joy of the coin game. I’ve stayed up later than I should with nothing but the gratifying sound of the ticket reward sfx and my laptop fans screaming for mercy as it heats up. Good times
