Not guilty. It has its share of flaws and plotholes but also has that almost indefinable magical quality that makes it great Doctor Who. And the Brig’s ‘rather have a pint’ line is one of my favourite moments in the whole show (although that probably says more about me than the show to be honest)

Anyway, we’ve been married for years now, have two kids that both love Doctor Who and we’re going to meet Sylvester McCoy next month, so I think that was the right decison.

The day I’d been waiting for for so long, new Doctor Who! And I missed it. Was in the early stages of new relationship and she invited me to a friend’s wedding reception. Didn’t have the confidence at that stage to turn down a date to stay in and watch Doctor Who instead.

Good luck with the prosecution on this one. Apart from Pertwee’s weird gurning at the end it’s pretty much flawless. It’s so fresh and confident it’s almost hard to believe this is the same show that inflicted The Dominators on us a year beforehand.

Both great. Dramatic, brilliantly acted all round but also bleak as fuck. The scenes of cyber Bill carrying the Dr’s lifeless body across a war ravaged wasteland don’t exactly scream Saturday night entertainment. Still we’ve got the trenches of WWI coming up next so that should lighten the mood
