What is SOTMUS? It's a conference for users of @osmus.bsky.social which is like the Wikipedia of maps. Anyone can contribute. Anyone can use the map (with attribution) for free. It's a utopian project from the optimistic early internet that would be laughed out of the room if it were proposed today.
I'll be giving a lightning talk, presenting a VERY FUN hands-on activity and idk maybe renting a bus or something to make sure I can drag as many of you as possible down to The Map Center in Pawtucket for a couple hours.
We are so excited for SotM US 2025. Join us in Boston this June!
