My take on The Cutting Room Floor debacle. My credentials: I have an MFA in fashion design, I worked (briefly) in the industry in NYC and was treated terribly by just about everyone I worked for/with, I am the exact kind of person who could have taken a job like this with support from my family. 1/

I just found out Big Door Prize was cancelled after 2 seasons. That show deserved so much more. Some of the best character development and connections, and an indescribably interesting story. I am devastated.

Survivor S1E14 Reunion Rewatch: Bryant Gumbel is the host not Jeff Probst?? Sacrilege! 1/

Survivor S1E13 Rewatch: We're nearing the end and it's the alliance of three plus Kelly remaining. Sue seems to have come clean to Richard about trying to align with Kelly earlier in the game which he admits if it had worked they could have taken him out. 1/

Survivor S1E12 Rewatch: another mistake from Sue, coming at Kelly so close to the end and Rich was able to pick up the pieces. 1/

Survivor S1E11 Rewatch: it’s interesting how so many contestants from the start didn’t want to do strategy and alliances and that is the whole of the show now. 1/
February 10, 2025 at 11:29 PM
Survivor S1E10 Rewatch: seasons used to be so long! Sean is dropping his alphabetical vote ‘strategy’. He thought not hurting anyone’s feelings was gonna get him the win I guess but after being used at tribal he’s changing his tune. Rich is laughing at others attempts to organize against him. 1/
February 10, 2025 at 10:41 PM
Survivor S1E9 Rewatch: everyone is talking about Sue lying at Tribal! ON NATIONAL TELEIVISION! lol. Kelly is over the alliance, bless her heart 1/
February 10, 2025 at 9:55 PM
Survivor S1E8 Rewatch: "there's no good reason other than strategy to vote Gretchen off" - Sean. um, yeah? Everyone outside of the alliance seems so confused about the vote. I was right, Rudy and Rich say Gretchen had to go because she was bright and strong and a potential new leader. 1/

Survivor S1E7 Rewatch: MERGE TIME 5 Tagi vs 5 Pagong. I totally forgot and it's interesting that they chose ambassadors to assess opposite camps to decided where to move. Pagong is a disaster organizationally and Rich is THE fisherman so it's gotta be Tagi. 1/

Happy Survivor Bowl Sunday to all who enjoyed.
February 10, 2025 at 5:31 AM
Survivor S1E6 Rewatch: The episode opening with Sue saying "we're having a Pagong day, we're laying around doing nothing" would be iconic if it happened in a later season 1/
February 10, 2025 at 4:12 AM
Survivor S1E5 Rewatch: Fully appreciating the *light* drama at both camps, especially the shit talking tribe mates at Tagi. Highlight- Rudy says he's religious but he'd use a bible for toilet paper is absolutely incredible.
February 10, 2025 at 3:01 AM
Survivor S1E4 Rewatch: Everyone is miserable after the storm. Also it's chaos at Pagong they're so disorganized at camp it would drive me up the wall like it is for Gretchen. I'm impressed everyone agreed with her and worked together to move the shelter and rebuild. 1/
February 10, 2025 at 2:06 AM
Survivor S1E3: Is this the episode where they eat rats? Wondering how hungry I'd have to be to partake, imo way more than they seem to be. 1/
February 10, 2025 at 1:19 AM
Survivor S1E2 Rewatch: THEY'RE TALKING ABOUT COOKING AND EATING RATS. I wonder what the trick would be for their fish traps to catch something. At the other camp BB is kicking ass making their shelter while the tribe seems split on how they feel about working so hard. 1/

Rewatching Survivor Season 1 because who doesn't need a distraction right now. First thoughts how the heck did this show get made, how did they originally recruit contestants? I watched it when it aired *in the year 2000* and wow, young Probst is a blast from the past. 1/

Last year Elon Musk and SpaceX claimed the NLRB is unconstitutional after being accused of labor violations.

Now under Trump, the NLRB is dropping its opposition to this claim.

The labor board will no longer fight in court against the charges that it shouldn't exist.
