I just went to Instagram to post this pea coat (and the shearling one he wore in DOWNHILL RACER, which is a close second)! Third place: Robert Redford in a leather jacket in Spy Game. Or Robert Redford in a trench in a half dozen other movies ... The man knew how to wear coats!

Wow. Obviously this person knows nothing of your work ... I just finished reading your beautiful piece in NY Magazine about the "list keepers" (v behind on my magazines) and found it so beautiful, insightful, vital — like everything you write, and everything you write about queer culture.

Also, maybe it's better now, but 15 years ago, you could not rely on a maps app via phone in Venice. So, get a physical paper one!

Last time I was there was .15 years ago(!), but the best sandwiches I've ever had were at El Refolo -- Via Giuseppe Garibaldi, 1580 -- very, very off the beaten path!
