My husband and I are so freaking happy with the way the dining room and basement painting came out. The dining room is exactly how I pictured it. We're thrilled!

Whipped up some homemade pico de gallo with tomatoes and hot peppers from my garden. The pepper plants were gift and I don't know what they are but they are fiery. 😋🤤

Going to a pumpkin carving party, so I thought I'd wear my sugar skull T-shirt and jack-o'-lantern socks. I probably should put on pants too.

Another gorgeous day so I went back out to the arboretum for a lunchtime walk. Crossed over the footbridge to the meditation garden. I love me a liminal space. #DukeFarms

Just left the #NoKings rally in Highland Park, NJ. The inflatable animal brigade was out in force, we ran into Auntifa, and our friend's dog had his own sign. The protest was huge and lined both sides of the street for quite a ways.

I was going to run at the gym but I decided to brave the cold and run my usual route. Glad I did; it was a wonderful run. Probably won't be able to do my normal Sunday run because I'll have fresh ink on my thigh.

#SundayRunday. Couldn't run on Friday due to vaccine crappiness, but I made up for it today with a pretty hard run. Still sweating and tired after a cold shower. At least hubs is making breakfast.

On my lunchtime walk, I saw this fierce wee beastie chowing down on some unfortunate bug. What a amazing little predator!
