Orwell Prize winning account.
Promoted from "99% crap" to "only half right" by Craig Whyte in just a few years.

A reminder.
A takeover bid must offer the same price to all shareholders.

However, a large "facilitation payment" paid into an offshore bank account for 'setting up the deal' would bypass these restrictions.

Just sayin'.

Agreed.
Why does King feel the need to get this story into the Sevco-fan mind as a done-deal?
If it all looked like a done-deal, why not let things take their course?

The need for publicity suggests King is trying to create inevitability to make it more difficult for some parties to reject it.

If you have a 4 year contract that can pay you off with just 7 months' wages at any time, you have a 7 month contract not 4 years.

Of course, you have to feel for Sevco-Rangers fans.
When all you have ever known is advantage, levelling the table will feel like the world is suddenly against you.

Though praise to the @scottishfa.bsky.social for VAR. Despite a difficult launch, it is addressing a longstanding problem.

Very few games are getting decided by bad officiating this season. Where there is still controversy, the space for debate is usually clear.

The very man I had in mind for the job.
Magic Circle? Rangers' cheating?

Both produced the results the people commissioning his work will have wanted. Just good fortune of course.

The Scottish legal system is apparently too busy to investigate itself? Amazing.

Corruption of the Scottish judiciary is exactly the question at hand.

The league table doesn't lie.
To have teams like Bayern, Dortmund, Real Madrid, and Man City in these positions meant there were some fantastic nights for a lot of fans.

That had become very rare in the previous format.

Quite!
Sadly social media has just changed the flavour of the piss served, but it is still mostly piss.
