I know I shouldn’t be “anybody-ist” … But pragmatically, if we just banned rich, powerful men from participating in politics for a couple of generations … surely the world would be a better place and humanity would have a better chance of survival?

Is there a global movement for social and environmental justice? It appears to me there are pressure groups working on specific issues but no overarching, easily-identifiable collaboration to address the interconnected challenges of poverty, inequality, prejudice, climate & biodiversity crises.

Littlehampton to Bognor … winter walk. In places we are clearly losing the battle to prevent coastal erosion. Some dismally claggy fields behind the beach which might make a wonderful wetland habitat if the farmer could be incentivised to give up some presumably marginal land?
