Do other people make maps when running #CandelaObscura? I didnt when I ran it the first time & they don't in CR but Im trying something new & was curious. Nothing special just enough 2 understand the lay of the land 4 both fights & investigation. I feel like itll help things maybe flow a bit better.

Been focusing on honing my #GM style thatll work with my disabilities & I got the last piece of the puzzle today! Already got a #CandelaObscura 1-Shot in the works & am getting there on a long term #Daggerheart campaign! Got other stuff as well but needless 2 say it seems things are coming together!

My last #DnD session (I'm a player) is easily 1 of my favorites. It was almost entirely a philosophical argument around a table. All the other players (including the DM obvs) were on their A game & we got some fantastic roleplay. I was able 2 really explore my new character which was awesome! #ttrpg

Watching #mha & Ive heard how badass #Deku is but he's built different fr like he just predicted an ambush in 3 secs then avoided at least 6 attacks at once then later he's avoiding like 10+ attacks & is still able 2 realize his friend isnt really her its a shapeshifter all in the span of 5 secs

Played my first #dnd5e ranger last night! While it was a RP only session so I can't speak to combat yet so far rangers are imo fantastic for roleplay! The favored enemy and high wisdom was fantastic for an investigative game especially when paired with Keen Mind! #dnd #ttrpg

Came across a term in reference to a type of #gamemaster style in #ttrpgs called emergent narrative where there's no planned story u craft one as you go based on what the PCs do. Now this is how I've been thinking about doing it but didnt know there was a name for it lol 1/3

Trying 2 #homebrew a subclass in #daggerheart & I love how simple it is! 3 features w/ 2 abilities each is far more user friendly imo than the DnD 1s I've made. I mean Ive never been able 2 create a full DND class but this gives me a lot of hope that I might be able to create a custom DH 1 soon!

Finally was able to go pick up (had it sent to my brother's for safe keeping lol) my physical #daggerheart set I preordered at Christmas! I may have already read it lol but it's awesome! I've already got a small game in the works lol! #criticalrole #ttrpg #ttrpgs

Read a bunch of the #Daggerheart book & I freaking love it! Here's some quick thoughts so far;
• The section on disability was just amazing as someone in a WC I actually teared up a little ngl
• The experiences mechanic might be my fav thing ever & the fact it works with reactions is awesome af

Yeah love #DND but not being able 2 get all spells back except resting when other classes can get their stuff back w/ less time is weird imo. I get it is 4 balancing but imo theres a better way e.g. #Daggerheart where u either just roll w/ a set DC or expend a regainable resource 4 spells. #ttrpgs
TTRPG hot take: Dungeons and Dragons did magic users dirty, spell slots are bullshit, unnecessarily complicated and have set a precedent for other games to continue making the use of magic joyless.

Yeah love #DND but not being able 2 get all spells back except resting when other classes can get their stuff back w/ less time is weird imo. I get it is 4 balancing but imo theres a better way e.g. #Daggerheart where u either just roll w/ a set DC or expend a regainable resource 4 spells. #ttrpgs

Anybody else go through a great super productive hyperfixation then just completely crash? Like in a week while in a #dnd one I homebrewed like 3 feats, 4 custom races, an entire subclass and made progress on a #powerrangers campaign and now...I got nothing

With TikTok about 2 vanish (probably idk anymore) I'll prob B on here way more...when Im not attempting 2 organize the over 3k saved TikToks Im currently downloading that range from recipes Ill never cook to actually really important #DnD stuff because I was 2 lazy 2 filter them first 🤣🤯😅 #tiktokban
