I am a believer in the proper use of statistics I guess
realization: the asteroid that ended the dinosaurs was technically the highest ratio of killing birds to one stone in earth's history "Average rock kills 2 birds" factoid actually just statistical error. Average rock kills 0 birds. Chixulub Georg, which killed 3/4 of all life, is an outlier adn should not have been counted.

Wednesday, my first cat, aka the darkness. She always said "meh" instead of mew. Once got stuck in a drawer in my kitchen somehow. Loved clown noses, the neighbor's shoes, making increasingly eldritch growls at outdoor cats, and snuggling with her humans. She made it to 14 #fuckcancer

Extremely fashionable multicolor screen. Cousin came to visit and brought Space Quest 1 as a gift, which was a Formative Experience for young me (was stuck on one scene for approximately five years, because this was long before youtube tutorials). Yes, you had to put the disk in to run anything.
An AppleIIGS, with square one-button mouse and two disk drives (one 3.5" and one 5 1/2", back when floppy disks were actually floppy).

an AI-generated image of a "European train trip". It begins in "Paris, France" (previously known as London), continues on to "Prag" in Second France (previously known as Paris). Switzerland is more or less in the right place but now contains Bratislava, and Split and Dubrovnik are now in Italy. There's also an unrelated leg of the trip is in Germany, which is almost, but not quite, 1/3 accurate. Bosnia is labeled SROS. I don't even know where to begin with "Strasbburg".
