Penzance vintage bus day is quite the event. Really busy with people. Had no idea they ran so many buses, on so many routes, for free.

Gorgeous weather to ride around the scenic west of #Cornwall

What a lovely day to ride an old bus from Penzance to St Just, via Pendeen. #cornwall

Wandered up a china clay spoil tip today, with son No. 1., seeing what our #meshtastic radio could reach. Quite a bit, thanks to some people with strategically positioned nodes on amongst the hills of mid-Cornwall.

Watching a waterwheel quietly turn in the sunshine is definitely a welcome relaxing activity in these crazy times. #cornwall

Exciting! My talented wife @pollywaffle.bsky.social now has an Etsy shop for the things she makes at the Flookan ceramics hub here in St Austell.

It’s the weekend. Cheers!

Busy this evening… haven’t had to sit outside of the bar, in the end of the visitor centre before.

Only threw away my 64MB Crucial Gizmo a couple of years ago. What a revolution that thing was vs floppies.

Totally failed to be properly prepared for the mud while attempting to walk from Penryn to the Flushing ferry with son 2 today.

So, abandoned that... and am falling back to have pictures from last week's meander around Redruth area & up Carn Brea. #cornwall

Today's Par Market tacos... wih bonus corn and cactus fritters.

Bit lacking in heat today, but tasty otherwise, and the fritters are really good!

👍 for expanding taco options in #cornwall

There's some sculpture by Osman Yousefzada at The Box, in Plymouth, which is currently highly relevant...

Tonight's St Austell Small Batch is "Sea Level", a 2.3% ABV Table Beer.

Not a common thing to see! This is unfiltered and is wildly flavorsome for such a low alcohol beer.

Lots of hops. Hint of salt. Feels quite thin, as you might expect, though.

Tonight's beer from the conveniently located brewery next door is "Full Sail", which is a double IPA.

Strong, and strong in flavour. This, plus the fire, will definitely keep me warm watching #totp

When it gets a bit too rainy in St Ives, you can pretend to be cultured and go look at some art.

When you’ve done that, and it’s still a bit too rainy in St Ives, there are plenty of doorways to stand in while eating a sausage roll…. because the takeaway bakery prices are bad enough.

Tonight's Small Batch from St Austell is "Devil's in the Details", a 9.8% ABV 'Belgian Style IPA'... whatever that is.

Tasty, and easy drinking for it's strength. Not as spicy as I expected it would be.
