Yah, it's a pretty impressive menu. Russians take their tea seriously.

Their Russian food is pretty authentic. Their Georgian food is good, but I can't speak to its authenticity. It tastes like Georgian food I've had in Russia? Which makes sense.

I really like Crepes Tea House. When one of my partners was in Holyoke we used to go to the one in West Springfield quite often.

Later I found the one in Southwick. Parking is much, much easier there, so that's where I go now.

I've never been to any branch other than the OG, actually. Every one of the reports I get are that the branches are not as good as the original. So if I'm going through New Haven anyway...

Oh! And closer to home, Mexico City's Metro has lots of food and drink vendors.

Yes, agreed. The Hong Kong MTR and Singapore MRT are both much more strict than BART about food and drink in stations and trains and still have a variety of food vendors in stations.

The system only charges $1.75 per ride with a $5 daily cap. I figure I can afford full fare and should leave the subsidy for people who need it.

So you then have to re-apply at 65 for a card that says you're 65. (There are some transit providers in Southern California whose age cutoff is 60, but then you have to re-apply twice: www.taptogo.net/SeniorAgeQua...).

The only other thing I've found for 62 so far is the LA Metro Senior TAP card, which I haven't applied for. I don't ride transit in LA very much, and it's only for ages 62-65 anyway, because most of the other transportation providers in the area require you to be 65 to qualify for a senior discount.

bsky was trying for "just like Twitter, but decentralized".

"Bluesky was originally created as a research initiative in 2019 by then-Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey to investigate the possibility of decentralizing the platform."

I also picked up the Massachusetts state equivalent of this pass, although I didn't post a photo of it to Bluesky.

There really isn't that much to sign up for at 62. I anticipate being very busy at 65, however.

I like that! Makes sense to me. :)
