Please reconsider using AI pictures. There are so many ethical and environmental concerns.

And many people are using AI as a replacement for doing proper genealogical research themselves, so it really goes against what you stand for!

In 1917, he was gassed and wounded at Vimy Ridge. His age was discovered and he was discharged.

He was sent home to Vancouver, but caught Spanish Flu and died on Boxing Day 1918 - aged 16.

Turns out, they’d renovated and removed the curtains. Song finished and we all got ushered out.

Oh god, mine did too. She left a binder and the funeral director was like, “Well, I guess we’re done then. She really thought of everything.”

But… the one thing she *didn’t* want, was for the coffin to be “left behind” at the crem, as the people file out.
