Alleged Family Medicine Doctor
I went to a school and survived a residency and passed my boards…
But you should see all my 5 star Google reviews
If a single physician legislator votes to confirm Dr Casey Means as surgeon general I am reporting them. I am going to file a complaint with their state medical board. If they confirm her they are supporting dangerous misinformation

I am 100% serious, and I invite anyone else to do the same.

I never thought “The Emperor’s New Groove” (the best Disney Movie) would be a salient social commentary on American Politics, but it is really pulling through with this Trump Gaza plan.

I would like to assign an essay to compare Yzma and Kronk with Nancy Pelosi and the Democratic Party

One thing you can do to help.

Go spend your money in Latino communities and businesses

Their primary customer base is scared and saving their money so they can survive what might be coming.

Their businesses are struggling.

Unfortunately a due to inflation a firm handshake and sharp suit will no longer be sufficient to buy respect and secure a job

You will now be required 10 years of verifiable relevant work experience, 2 internal references, a masters degree, and certificates in several obscure software platforms

It doesn’t matter what you think Elon did.

It only matters what other people thought Elon did.

A large group of dangerous hate groups think Elon signaled his alliance with them and that he condones their actions. His actions will embolden them.

That’s what matters.

Here’s a hot take from someone that deeply believes in preventative medicine.

We need to pump the brakes on preventative medicine.

There is too much acute illness post COVID to keep up.

Toxic relationship strategy
Take away something from a friend/partner/spouse that they earned or bought themselves

Then give it back when they do what you want. It’s a power move.

In related News, really hope Trump and the the MAGAs give all the small businesses on TikTok their livelihoods back.

As a medical content creator I am seriously considering

*Only Fans*

would you tune in to a PG-13 page of cardiologists with their shirts off and md-phd’s pole dancing (mostly clothed) while discussing medical topics

Also, sexual health is a huge topic that is profoundly underrepresented

The Tock stopped ticking…

Is there another platform that will provide 50-60,000 bots that will follow me and make me feel important?

I knew what was happening, but it was still fun

Question for the Vitamin D treaters

Why are we checking vitamin D levels and not calcitriol levels?

When a patient is dying we call a code blue.

All hands on deck, everyone works together to manage the crisis.

After the crisis is over we have a debrief and discuss the cause of crisis and how the crisis was managed, then make changes

To all the politicians,

For everyone 1 day, or 10 years sober.

I get why we count the days, but I sometimes wish we could do it without the hierarchy.

For my patients putting in the work to battle substance abuse. You are either sober today, or getting sober ASAP… and I respect you.

The “Great Influenza” pandemic of 1919-1920 was one of the deadliest pandemics killing estimated 15-50 million people.

Swine flu pandemic of 2009 was caused by the same strain, H1N1, and killed maybe around 600,000

Interestingly H1N1 is currently the predominate strain of flu this flu season

I got severely burnt out about 3 years ago.

My daughter got Hollow Knight for her switch right around that time.

Over 2 months I logged 100 hours on that game.

This 40+ physician now has a deep emotional connection to that video game that pulled me out of burn out.

Let coping be diverse

Social Security Disability currently pays on average $1,700 a month. That is about 20,400 a year.

Also, bizarrely, that money may be taxed like income

Can we stop treating people on SSDI like they won some big prize and conned the system.

Fully able people struggle to survive on that income.

In spite of years of efforts to fight bird flu we are now at a crisis.
For most Americans it’s just an egg shortage so here’s a tip,
For baking
An alternative for 1 large egg
1/4 cup carbonated water
or
2 tbs water + 2 tsp baking powder + 1 tsp vegetable oil

Remember this moment… storms coming

If you were presented with information that contradicted your world view would you

- try to understand it and be open to changing your world view

- immediately challenge it and work to discredit it

- ignore it and count on someone else to interpret it and provide you with an opinion
