That's not nearly as bad as during COVID. A new billionaire was created every 30 hours to the tune of 573 new billionaires total. Billionaires wealth rose faster than the previous 23 years combined. The combined wealth is equivalent to roughly 15% of the the worlds GDP currently.

The majority of the meat comes from surprise surprise, Texas. The corn that feeds those cattle? Ohio, Indiana, Illinois...the rust belt. California does very little for the rest of the country that isn't California.

Oh I have, I definitely have done my research on what states the country can and cannot live without. California is number one.

And to be even more straight forward the country can live without California's mostly specialty produce. Fruits, marijuana, and tree nuts. Coupled with Florida and Washington, those compromise the absolutely most replaceable or unnecessary farm states.

Those are also here. There is a huge bovine farm near me that also raises beefalo. There's a ton of smaller farms scattered in between until you get up into Michigan. That's where you find some serious cow farms. Farms that provide meat to far reaching states.
