Here’s my first batch of revenants for the Silver Bayonet! they are a combination of Perry’s miniatures Prussians and French, and Wargames Atlantic new Zombies set. They went together super well and I am very happy with them! Also my first time painting something “historically” “accurate.”
Six zombie miniatures. The three on the left are in napoleonic French uniforms and are painted with dark blue coats and off white pants, with black shoes and hats. The right three are napoleonic Prussian uniformed zombies, in a slightly lighter blue coat with black and grey pants, boots, and hats. They all have pale greenish hued skin and are all covered in fresh and dried looking red paints. Their bases have grass and various fall colored turf on them.

here are the last two pieces of graveyard terrain, another small cluster and then a larger one that could be used as a stand alone graveyard or as a larger piece to make a huge graveyard with the others. It’s nice having more pieces for the Silver Bayonet:

The smaller one has a wooden coffin sticking up out of the ground and one tombstone knocked over. Both are covered with green turf for grass, and a bunch of fall colored leaf litter and bushes in a variety of oranges and reds. In the middle of the larger piece of terrain an unpainted grey miniature is standing.

And here are better pictures of the grave clusters I made for the Silver Bayonet. I’ll break it up into two sets of pictures, one today, one tomorrow. I really like these and should make a cool graveyard all together:
A set of two pieces of graveyard terrain. Both are rectangular and have five various stone colored tombstones on them. They have some green turf for grass on the ground in spots and various small orange and red bushes visible on them. Between the two is an unpainted miniature for scale. Three more pieces of graveyard terrain. The left one has five tombstones on it eith various fall colored bushes and green turf for grass covering most of it. The middle one has five tombstones but in the middle of it there is a coffin sticking partially up out of the ground. The coffin is busted open and you can see a skeleton peaking out of it. It has fall colored brush on it. The right one has just four tombstones on it but in the bottom left corner there’s a partially buried skeleton visible. There’s fall colored foliage on it.

So here are the two mausoleums I made for the Silver Bayonet. I am really enjoying the fall theme for colors, makes things so much brighter. I’m pretty happy with both of them:
Two foam terrain pieces, both of them small stone mausoleums. The left one has a tall peaked roof on it, with a copper door and copper roof parts. The copper has a little green from oxidization and age. Above the door is a stone gargoyle inset into the wall. There are fall colored leaves around the bottom and in crevices and a small yellow bush on the side. The right mausoleum is half the size of the first with a flat angled roof of stone. Its copper door is much older looking and more green than copper colored. It also has more fall colored foliage than the other building and covered in yellow moss as well. Between the two buildings is an unpainted grey miniature for scale.

Alright, so they are done! I’ll have proper posts showing off everything later, but here are side by sides of the original and the new versions. I am very happy with how far I’ve grown as a crafter and how these look. Here we go:
Two foam terrain pieces. Both are mausoleums with high peaked roofs. They are both made to look like stone. The newer one is on the left, and the building includes an inset gargoyle statue above the worn copper door. The roof has sheet copper on it between stone dividers. The ground is covered in grass and various fall colored foliage. The right building has a wooden door with a small shelf above it that has a gargoyle clumsily sitting on the shelf. The roof has similar divides in it and covered in shingles, but looks to also be made of stone. The ground just has bumpy texture to it and no greenery. Between the two buildings is an unpainted grey miniature for scale. Two different sets of two clusters of tombstones. The left set is the old version, which has 2 to 3 overly large tombstones on an oval of cardboard that has a bumpy texture for the ground. There’s a little static grass just sprinkled haphazardly on it. The right clusters of graves have 5 smaller more in scale tombstones on each and are on a base that’s larger and rectangular. The ground is covered in a fine grass and covered with various fall colored foliage. Some are bushes, clumps of yellow and orange leaf piles, and various grass tufts. In between the two sets of gravestones is an unpainted grey miniature to show the scale.

Alright, here are some photos with the texture paint down on them, still wet at the time, but happy with how it looks. Also added in some random skulls I painted up as well:
A top down shot of all seven grave clusters. Six of them are smaller with the last one as large as 4 of them together. They have various grey colored tombstones on them all. The ground is now covered with a brown texture paint to look like mud or dirt. There are some skulls around on a few of the pieces, and coffins on various state of damage on two of them. One also has a partial skeleton sunk in the mud. The two grey stone mausoleums from previous pictures. They also have copper doors on both and copper sheets on one roof. They now have some brown texture paint on their bases to look like mud or dirt. The left one has two skulls on the side of it sitting in the mud, the right one has a single skull sitting by the door on the front.

Here’s the painted grave clusters, the next plan is putting texture paint onto them, that matches both the other terrain, and the Silver Bayonet minis as well:
A set of six pieces of terrain, they are all small sets of tombstones. Two have coffin pieces on them as well, another one has a partial skeleton on it. They are painted with brown on the ground, and the tombstones are colored in various greys. A couple are also lighter colored. A larger sized terrain piece, but still covered in graves, but spread out more. The ground is painted brown, and the tombstones are colored in greys and a few lighter ones.

So here’s the assembled mausoleum, and then a second small one I made just because that’s how it always ends up going when I make stuff. The Silver Bayonet stuff I want more realistic, but both of these have a little of the rule of cool for designs:
A white and pink foam building. The roof and door are made of brown chipboard, as is the base. The roof has a cap of white foam and foam decorations on it. Above the doorway is a grey plastic gargoyle. You can see some white dots on the roof and door to look like rivets or bolts. A slightly smaller building made of white and pink foam. It has a door and base made of brown chipboard. The side has decorative pieces of foam including a strip with some leaves and vines drawn on it in pen. The roof is just slanted and not a peaked one.

So next up I will show some Wip on the mausoleum. I didn’t do pics with the boring structure making, but here is the details starting to be added, and then one with the roof started:
A small building made of pink and white foam, with a doorway of chipboard. It had a peaked shape to the building but no roof yet. The internet support structure to the roof has a triangular piece of foam in the middle. There is a grey premade gargoyle above the doorway in a carved out alcove. The same building made of pink and white foam from the previous picture. It now has a brown chipboard roof on it, with some pieces of white foam along the chipboard pieces.

So here we have the tombstones glued down now. And also a larger “small” graveyard that could be used in place of the clusters but is big enough to actually have minis walk through:
Four of the grave clusters. Now the chipboard and foam have some added foam tombstones of varying designs on them. One cluster also has a coffin sticking up sideways still closed. Another one has a broken open coffin sitting upright and has a skeleton inside of it. A third one has a skeleton torso and head just laying on the ground. A larger piece of chipboard with foam glued on it and 11 tombstones on it. There are also pieces of cork glued onto it to be used as rocks.

I am still happy with these but I wanted to see how far I’ve come in three years. So here’s the first bit of the terrain, I am working on some new grave clusters, more in scale and more with my actual style:

Okay so, this is going to be a thread of me revisiting and making a new version of my original terrain pieces I made. I made these in around ’22, and I just made them because I wanted to try something. This was before Frostgrave or anything. I’m remaking them now, for The Silver Bayonet. Here we go!
A set of three pieces of scatter terrain with tombstones on them, a larger tombstone, and a mausoleum. In the middle of them all is a miniature for scale, and all the terrain pieces are very large in comparison to them. The tombstones are on round pieces of cardboard with sand covering them, then painted like stone and dirt. They have some static grass just sprinkled on them and some grass tufts. The mausoleum is all greys with a wooden door and a small gargoyle on a platform above the door. The large grave is almost the size of the mausoleum in height and is grey colored with a cross on top of it. Close up of the mausoleum. It’s colored I greys and the ground are tans. There is a wooden door on it. In the side of the building for decoration a square is cut into it and there is trim pieces on all the faces.

Here’s the other building I made for the Silver Bayonet. I am really happy that it turned out as good as it did. I wanted it to look like mortared slate pieces, and I think it fits the bill!
A miniature building with an unpainted miniature for scale. It’s made of foam and wood and looks like a stone building with a wooden roof and a small wooden side room. A brick chimney is also visible. The stones and mortar are grey colored, the chimney is made of reds and browns, and the wood is light brown with some darker areas. The back of the building from the first picture. On this side you can see more of the stone design and also see some leaded glass windows present as well. The colors of the stone are various greys and the wooden roof is a light brown with some darker areas. An unpainted mini stands next to it for scale

Alrighty, here we go! My first completed buildings for the Silver Bayonet. I went with two farmhouses and two outhouses. The outhouses were mostly to test how I wanted to do foliage for these because I want a spooky autumn look. Here’s the first house and the outhouses though:

The wood is a light brown with some darker areas and there is a dark green grass and various fall colored grass tufts. A small wooden building for the silver bayonet skirmish game. It’s got light brown with darker areas planks vertically on the side of the building and horizontal planks for the roof. The roof is covered with orange and yellow leaves as is the front. It has a brick chimney covered in moss in front next to the door. Standing beside it is an unpainted miniature for scale.

Finished up the second round of goblins for the Silver Bayonet. i am happy with these guys. They are all from Reaper miniatures this time. Soon I’ll have the completed building I’m working on done as well!

The next work in progress pictures of my buildings for the Silver Bayonet. I’m almost fully done with assembling them, aside from some windows. I’m very happy with them so far, and getting close to done with them.
Two building made of foam and balsa wood. The one on the right is made to look like a slate stone building with wooden beams on the corners. Then a wooden shingle roof, and a small side room made of wood. The right building is all made of balsa wood on the outside. Both have chimneys made of foam and painted as brick and stone.

So I totally forgot to get pics of these guys, but here is the first round of goblins for the Silver Bayonet. The first two are from Stonehaven Miniatures, and the other four are from Reaper Miniatures. I like these little guys!
Two goblins from Stonehaven minis, the first is holding a two handed axe, and is wearing copper armor with red details. The second is holding a wand and a staff with a horned skull on it, it has off white and tan clothes with some red accents as well. Both have green skin. Four green skinned goblins from reaper miniatures. They are all holding torches and one handed stone swords. They all are wearing red shirts and have either brown leather armor or pieces of copper armor on them. They have white wraps on their feet and hands.

So here are the first clue tokens for the Silver Bayonet. I made most generic stuff like boxes, bags, and books. But a couple unique ones too. I still want to make a few more, some corpses and bone piles but these are a good start.
A set of 12 clue tokens, all on 1 inch bases. There are 4 books sitting in dirt, 4 bags sitting in dirt, 2 small wooden boxes, and then a couple severed hands in the dirt. The last one is a large pile of troll dung with some human bones sticking out of it. Five of the bases have a red line around the edge of them. A little wooden structure that has two hanging heads and a hanging hand on it. To the right are a few of the tokens from the previous picture.

So working on my first Silver Bayonet buildings today. I’m pretty happy with how they are coming along. The left building will be covered with balsa wood planks, for a small wood building, And the right one will have wood accents as well.
Two work in progress foam buildings. The left one is small and made out of all styrofoam with a wood door frame. The right one has wood trim and a pink foam chimney and side room, while the rest is covered with yellow texture paint and foam to look like mortar and slate. Between the two is a grey miniature for scale

Finished up my next Silver Bayonet minis. A set of hobgoblins, originally Reaper minis ghasts, and two ghouls, also by Reaper miniatures. It’s nice getting some minis finished again. Really happy with how the flesh ended up looking on them all.

They are naked aside from loinclothes and vary from pale to darker skin tones. A set of two ghoul miniatures. One is holding a spine and skull, the other is holding a femur and having a snack. One is dark skinned, the other light skinned.

First round of minis painted in a while! I did three of these bats for Frostgrave: Ghost Archipelago, and three for the Silver Bayonet. My first minis for both these games, they are from Reaper Miniatures.

And the last picture of the statues I made for Frostgrave and the Silver Bayonet. This is the second base for the angel, themes for the Silver Bayonet specifically. All the tops are interchangeable with magnets.
A set of 5 modular terrain pieces and a miniature for scale. On the left is a large square planter with small flower beds around the bottom and an angel miniature on the top. There are also three other toppers, one being a planter with various flowers, one a planter with a bush in it, and the last is some sort of runic stone with glowing blue in the middle. All items are painted in greys to look like stone. The same items, but instead of the angel on top of the large planter it’s the square topper that’s filled with flowers. Everything is painted to look like grey stone. The miniature for scale is standing next to the player as well.

The second two statues and bases that I finished up to use for Frostgrave and the Silver Bayonet. These two are also from Reaper Miniatures. Both can be removed from their bottom bases with magnets. The left one is actually my favorite of this project.

It’s a little messy, but here you go. I plan to work on expanding stuff a little and rearranging soon.
