Currently, not having Grand Central connected to the Metro network at all makes it feel cut off from the city, and certainly not very "central". The Metro 9's could easily bridge that. For all I know, this might be the plan anyway, just an idea @translinkni.bsky.social

Considering Sandy Row residents have been vocal about how the new station negatively impacted them, giving better connectivity + visibility to their businesses by having 9 go through would make sense. Plus it's a much more logical/faster route, if new layout around GC allows such connectivity.

Reform didn't have a massive vote surge, same old loud angry minority. Labour voters stayed home because of other issues, not immigration. Austerity light, selling arms to Israel, failure to implement any meaningful change despite their majority. This is visionless reactionary politics at its worst.
