Also, we found that our generated model of injury shares transcriptional features with IBD patients, which opens the possibility for future translational studies!

Also, we found that our generated model of injury shares transcriptional features with IBD patients, which opens the possibility for future translational studies!
Our main findings are:
- We showed that macrophages accumulated in the regenerating intestine and promoted proliferation of intestinal cells.
- We identified igfbp1a as a novel regulator of intestinal regeneration, promoting the closure and proliferation of the intestinal barrier.
