NEW RESEARCH: IEA WEO energy scenarios have significantly underestimated solar PV growth potential.

There's a consistent underestimation of PV. The projected annual additions of solar PV have not aligned with real market developments.

Gutless decision. One of the biggest culture shocks I experienced when I moved to Australia was living near a pub with pokies right in the heart of a struggling community. Gambling deepens poverty, fuels debt and fractures lives. It’s a cycle that traps vulnerable families, leaving lasting harm.

Great news — new lithium supply is critical to power the battery revolution underway and sustain the aggressive price reductions observed year-on-year (20% for packs last year according to BNEF)
NEW: There’s now TWICE as much lithium in the world as assessed in 2018..

...according to the annual “Mineral Commodity Summaries” out today from the US Geological Survey

Watched I'm Still Here last night and wow—deeply moved by the powerful story & Fernanda Torres' incredible acting. I can totally see why it’s nominated for best picture and her for best actress!
