This is a totally AI-generated article. Prove me wrong!

That said, yes, every one of the other options are definitely worth it. But you can say that of everything. Heck, I want "Planet Terror 2" (R. Rodriguez).

But yes, don't mess with my GenX classics. I'll pay for all sequels I can!

I've always complained how much we ignore history in our field. The appearance of OpenStack was absolutely game-changing. I never got to contribute actual code but I was a huge advocate inside VMware (!). Then I had the privilege of working for Josh at Pivotal. Some of my best professional memories!

Most of my actual friends in tech went back to Twitter (we never call it X). I never left, because the /value/ of real-time insights. And if I would care what a CEO's position is on anything, I'd starve to de3ath.

I come here only once a week. And this is my "tweet", FWIW.

It’s also two other things: 1) Signal is the real thing (all of us in security know this); and 2) it’s idiot proof!

Sure. But also, whatever. The darn thing is so good that it doesn't matter.

Furthermore, 99% of my usage is via API anyways.

Fk. So sad.

This is one of those childhood memories we all have...

My dad loved every fight he was on. To me, he became a verb. Can anyone aspire to more in their lives?

Hats off!

That's 10% of what you could be getting if the message is: "YOU could become a billionaire!"

Y'all don't "meet the customer where they are". Something like every normie has to do in their own business.

Interesting. I had been thinking of something similar but using the Nostr protocol instead, and controlling the access via proxy. In that way, you inherit all clients (like Primal) and all you have to do is changing your proxy. Nostr is a bit less mature but with even less chance of takeover.

The right word is not alien, it’s Xenomorph.

Absolutely. But it reminds me a lot when Mastodon and the Fediverse appeared. Cycles are faster now. If it gets decent traction, it will evolve faster. But who knows... all good things tend to get coopted.

I've been really enjoying Nostr recently...
