Some movies I recently watched. I Love You Forever was the one that forced me to go to reddit, curious what others thought. Was surprised at those who skewered it; not surprised by those that connected to it.

Last night was the coolest most fun Halloween I can recall in years. Fun out front with friends/neighbors, then inside the house for a party that just kinda happened naturally. Second batch of cupcakes not a big improvement 😂🎃🧟♂️💀

Baking spooky cupcakes. These are Frankenstein('s monster) made from scratch as the test run. Turned out excellent for the bake and frosting but I hope to improve the design.

Siouxsie and the Banshees - All Souls. Perfect for the season and a wonderfully curated selection of songs. Sure, I kinda already associated many of these songs with autumnal qualities. But for a band with a stellar catalog of albums and compilations, this most recent one is a welcome addition.

Happy Friday 🍻 This episode of Fresh Air with Terry Gross interviewing Ken Burns on his new American Revolution documentary played earlier this week. It was an interesting talk and a fantastic preview of the doc. Also, I was in the audience!

Got to see this show today which features a lot of Paul Romano's work. Totally mind-blowing seeing so much of his work in person all at once. That Leviathan painting for Mastodon is full of fun and surprises when you really stare directly at it for a while.

The show on Friday with Qual, Void Vision, Nuxx, and DJ Baby Berlin was excellent. Void Vision is truly special. If you ever see this Philly woman coming to your town, do make the effort. She's carved out her own unique sound and presence.
