Third ER visit in 11 days for our Young Jedi. We are stretched thin in every way imaginable right now. We have no answers as to why he continues to have abdominal pain. We’d appreciate your good thoughts and all the healing vibes. Thank you.

Horror Happy Hour is a day I look forward to every month. I got to pick this month’s book, and November felt perfect for @chuckwendig.bsky.social spooky book about staircases in the woods. So looking forward to good conversation with good friends over good drinks.

So the Photo memories on my desktop are delivering some peak nostalgia today. Here's my oldest and I watching @wilwheaton.net talk about Season 3 of TableTop on April 23, 2014. We were proud Indiegogo supporters.

There's this brief bit in the movie OFFICE SPACE where the character Tom has an idea for a "Jump to Conclusions" floor mat. He pitches it to his co-workers, and Michael Bolton (no relation) says, "That is the worst idea I have ever heard in my life, Tom." Something reminded me about it this week.

@jeffcannata.bsky.social you are 100% correct: the Dog Man movie was far better than it had any right to be. Just took the family and we had a blast!

Anyway, our GFM is still open. Jesus take the wheel.

Last night’s power outage vibes. Almost 14 hours later and we, along with 500,000 others across the Puget Sound, are still without electricity. This storm was bonkers.

Behold my mediocre decorating skills! The spouse’s birthday cake this year is a Mojito Pound Cake. It’s a TON of steps but soooo worth it. And she’s worth the effort because she’s the absolute best.

I’m the luckiest guy in the world to be called “Dad” by this 15 YEAR OLD!!! What?! We’re constantly bonding over music, video games, choir, theater, and so much more. You’ll never see them without a sketchbook, drawing characters and costumes and whatever their creative brain comes up with.
