I was an ‘ear’ player having given up formal piano & saxophone tuition*. I stuck with the alto. Joined the army but not the band (terrible sounds back then). Took up piano when I left.
*My sax teacher was an old British dance band leader who fell asleep within 10 mins of the lesson!

Installing new septic tank. The house is over the site of an old sandstone quarry. The new tank sits right on top of the old rock level. Many old houses round here are built in stone from this old quarry.

I think most snake get a bad rap. I rescue and relocate as many as I can from the roadside.
