No single person, especially someone with zero expertise, should be able to just change the CDC website on a whim. The fact that federal health and science pages are no longer trustable is a catastrophe for public health and democracy.

Here’s a piece of folk #psychology: we act thus & so because it’s tradition. My view is that we never, or at least very rarely, act because doing so is traditional: tradition does not typically provide a reason to act. The action is itself of some supposed value. That ‘value’ provides the reason.

IMHO Bashir should give way despite the bounce at Perth. Lyon has a superb record at Perth but Bash isn’t Lyon. England need to hit Australia hard at Perth. All out pace. A 1:0 lead would still seem like a high interest bank loan. That said, it’s not the WACA. #Ashes Come on #England
