This was not a good pick for my “read fiction to avoid reality” coping method. Le Carre’s descriptions of Trump’s effect on global politics from back in 2019 appear to have come from a crystal ball. Ugh. (Good read though. Meh ending.)

I tore through “From Here to the Great Unknown” by Lisa Marie Presley and Riley Keough. What started out as entertaining pop-culture fluff turned into a poignant, brutal analysis of their personal grief and loss. I’m still crying. Hug your children. #Booksky
