Finished this beautiful piece for a very near and dear friend, @ralix.bsky.social. He's been a wonderful pal for so many years, and I was honored to do this gift for him.
It's been a while since my divorce and it haunts me daily. Today, I received a gift from a close friend.
Based on Kintsugi, I know I can never hide the breaks. I carry scars & cracks as part of myself. But, I can pull myself back together.
Something older, something wiser, something more empathetic.

But the booze. It’s the first thing at every store door. Front & centre on many aisles.
